At around 3am, the flood quickly poured into the company courtyard, with water depth exceeding knee level. As the flood approached the workshop, it submerged more than a dozen new equipment temporarily parked in the courtyard. General Manager Li Feng and Deputy General Manager Li Zhiguo urgently organized more than 20 night shift employees to carry out emergency operations. The Minister of the Switching Business Unit, Wang Wenke, led comrades such as Sha Hongbo, Wang Shan, Zhu Zengjie, Yan Yao, and Zhang Wenyu to form a small team to reinforce the defense lines of the factory and warehouse by loading and transporting sandbags. Comrades such as Chen Jinbang, Zhang Lei, Ma Baichao, and Kang Ming inside the factory have cleared the accumulated water that has entered the factory. Some comrades are fully investigating and handling equipment risksFaced with the dangerous situation in the campus, Yang Shunjing proposed a plan to break through the wall and drain the water. The company quickly formed an assault team, and comrades such as Li Rongjun, Zhang Xiaolong, Xu Zhenhuan, Ma Xiaodong, Li Wenming, Yang Yang, Liu Jianhua, and Guo Hongchao swung their hammers and smashed the wall in the heavy rain.
